Restoration of paint on wall and ceiling surfaces
Standard way of restoring paint on non-problematic surfaces
The demand for the surfaces to be, after paint has been restored, resistant only to dry scrubbing, for them to be able to be wiped with a wet cloth or for them to be washable, is the basis for selection of suitable family of paints. When selecting a certain paint, the following two factors have to be taken into account, namely, if it is supplied in the desired colour shade and if it suits our demands also as far as all or at least the majority of its other characteristics are concerned.
It is necessary to mend all abrasions, dents, cracks and other damages on wall and ceiling surfaces prior to restoring paint. Such mending can be replaced by polishing of the whole surface. This is also recommended prior to restoring paint on surfaces, whose aesthetical appearance is spoilt by excessive roughness or structural anomalies. Please find more detailed instructions here.
