Restoring paint on decorative renders
Cracked, faded, dirty and washed out decorative renders no longer provide either desired decorative appearance to façade surfaces or necessary protection from destructive effect of precipitation due to reduced water repellence. If they are well adhered to the surface, they can be restored easily: only immediate restoration painting is usually necessary and, in case of cracked surfaces, quality mending first and then painting with a suitable micro reinforced façade paint.
Suitable paints for restoring paint are:
- micro reinforced acrylic façade paint REVITALCOLOR AG (solution A); suitable for all types of decorative renders; it adheres to the substrate only by adhesion, you can select among a wide range of colour shades, it is easy to apply and suitable also for less favourable weather conditions; it is distinguished by high water repellence and resistance to infection with wall algae and mould
- micro reinforced silicone façade paint REVITALCOLOR SILICONE (solution B); suitable for all types of decorative renders; it adheres to the substrate only by adhesion, available in a limited selection of colour shades, it is easy to apply and suitable also for less favourable weather conditions; it is distinguished by high water repellence, which abates very slowly, and resistance to infection with wall algae and mould
- and micro reinforced silicate façade paint REVOTALCOLOR SI (solution C); suitable only for restoring paint on mineral and silicate decorative renders; available in a limited selection of colour shades, demanding to apply and can be applied only in favourable weather conditions
Microfibres in all three paints successfully prevent cracking of too-thick applications in furrows and holes of the relief surface of the render.
Solution A
Clean the surface off loose particles and cover it with diluted ACRYL EMULSION (ACRYL EMULSION : water = 1 : 1) or diluted JUKOL (JUKOL: water = 1 : 1), then, coat it twice with a selected shade of
REVITALCOLOR AG. If necessary, dilute the paint with up to 10% of water.
To paint a m2 of a façade surface, you will need ~150 g of AKRIL EMULSION
or ~150 ml of JUKOL and ~400 to 700 ml of REVITALCOLOR AG.
Solution B
Clean the facade surface off dust and loose particles and paint it with diluted JUBOSIL G (JUBOSIL G : water = 1 : 1) or diluted JUKOL (JUKOL: water = 1 : 1), and then, twice with REVITALCOLOR SILICONE in the selected colour shade (if necessary, dilute the paint with up to 10% of water).
To paint a m2 of a façade surface, you will need ~150 ml of JUBOSIL G or ~150 ml
of JUKOL and ~400 to 700 ml of REVITALCOLOR SILICON.
Solution C
Clean the facade surface off dust and loose particles and paint it with diluted JUBOSIL GX (JUBOSIL GX : water = 1 : 1) and then, twice with REVITALCOLOR SI in the selected colour shade (if necessary, dilute the paint with up to 10% with JUBOSIL GX).
To paint a m2 of a façade surface, you will need ~150 ml of JUBOSIL GX and
~400 to 700 ml of REVITALCOLOR SI; even a small amount of JUBOSIL GX is sufficient for potential diluting of paint.

Solution A
Clean the facade surface off dust and loose particles and paint it with diluted JUBOSIL EX and then, twice with REVITALCOLOR SILICONE in the selected colour shade (if necessary, dilute the paint with up to 10% of water)
To paint a m2 of a façade surface, you will need: ~300 to 500 ml of JUBOSIL EX
and ~400 to 700 ml of REVITALCOLOR AG; even a small amount of JUBOSIL GX
is sufficient for potential diluting of JUBOSIL EX.
Solution B
Clean the facade surface off dust and loose particles and paint it with diluted JUBOSIL EX and then, twice with REVITALCOLOR AG in the selected colour shade (if necessary, dilute the paint with up to 10% of water).
To paint a m2 of a façade surface, you will need: ~300 to 500 ml of JUBOSIL EX
and ~400 to 700 ml of REVITALCOLOR SILICONE; even a small amount of JUBOSIL GX is sufficient for potential diluting of JUBOSIL EX.
Solution C
Clean the facade surface off dust and loose particles and paint it with diluted JUBOSIL EX and then, twice with REVITALCOLOR SI in the selected colour shade (if necessary, dilute the paint with up to 10% of JUBOSIL GX).
To paint a m2 of a façade surface, you will need: ~300 to 500 ml of JUBOSIL EX

a) cleaning and mending:
Remove decorative render near greater cracks and on other damaged places and mend it so that renovated surfaces are at variance with their surrounding area as little as possible as far as appearance is concerned. For the purpose of mending, apply mortar compounds, which are the same or as similar to the applied render regarding binder and granulation as possible. Dry mended surfaces for at least a week before you continue with reconstruction works.
