Decorative spray renders

JUBOLIT 1,5 in 2,5

  • typical evenly grained appearance
  • rather limited selection of colour shades
  • it is possible apply JUBOLIT 1.5 and 2.5 to all kinds of fine plastered substrates including that of facade thermal insulating systems (ATTENTION! Lower fire resistance of façade thermal insulating systems, where insulating lining is made of mineral wool)
  • supplied in paste-like form, ready for application
  • highly water repellent
  • application is possible also in less favourable weather conditions
Coat the substrate with UNIGRUND or diluted ACRYLCOLOR first (ACRYLCOLOR : water = 1 : 1); - in both cases, the shade should be in the shade as close to the colour of the render as possible. Mortar compound is applied onto a dry pre-coat by a spraying gun in at least two, but normally in three coats. Each new coat is sprayed on a dust dry prior coat. Dilute mortar compound with up to 10 % of water prior to the application of the first coat, when the entire substrate has to be covered with a pre-coat and especially when it is applied to extremely absorbing substrates. Spraying in a coat that is too thick results in an unsuitably put on/installed and usually also cracked surface, therefore, reduce thickness and increase the number of coats especially in case of less-absorbing substrates. Spray the first coat of the render by moving the spray gun left – right in a horizontal direction, the next coat by moving the gun up – down in a vertical direction and so on. When applying the last coat, you can circle with the gun over the treated surface to achieve the structure of as even appearance as possible. Mortar compound can be applied in this way also in case of the first two coats.

The joining of surfaces in corner edges is facilitated by installing finely smoothed stripes which have got a width of only a few centimetres. Such stripes are recommended also when dividing big façade boards to several smaller ones to avoid any trouble at application of the render and unaesthetic appearance due to a surface, which may not be even enough, and, at the same time, by applying the stripes interesting decorative effects can be achieved.

To process a mof the surface, you will need ~150-200 g of UNIGRUND or ~70 ml of ACRYLCOLOR and ~2.5 kg of JUBOLIT1.5 or ~3.5 kg of JUBOLIT 2.5.
