Protection of plinth surfaces with decorative renders

Uncracked fine renders of renovation systems

Renovation systems should not be “closed” by the protective lining. Therefore, you should choose among sufficiently water-repellent and more water-vapour permeable decorative renders, namely, among silicone and silicate renders. Both of them are highly solid, resistant to effects of smoke and ultraviolet radiation, but they do not last long if exposed to intensive moistening by rainwater bouncing from the ground (the most sensitive in this respect are silicate renders). Because of this, restoring paint in shorter intervals is recommended as is recommended for renders of the same type, which are applied to other parts of façade surfaces.
