Decorative or protective painting of plinth surfaces
Hair-cracked fine plasters of renovation systems
The following solutions are suitable for at least a week-old water-repellent fine lime-cement render (e.g. FINE RENDER 1.0), which is applied onto the system of renovation renders, which has no bigger defects and damages, but is hair-cracked:
solution A
Apply a sufficiently water-vapour permeable, micro-reinforced acrylic façade paint REVITALCOLOR AG, which ensures high water repellence – especially in combination with JUKOL as a primer – and high protection against infection with wall algae and mildew to painted surfaces. Paint attaches to the surface with adhesion, it is simple to apply – also in less favourable working conditions and you can select among a wide range of colour shades.
Clean the plinth surface off dust and loose particles first and then coat it with diluted ACRYL EMULSION first (ACRYL EMULSION: water = 1 : 1) or diluted JUKOL (JUKOL: water = 1 : 1), then, apply the selected colour shade of REVITALCOLOR AG twice.
To paint a of m2 a plinth, you will need ~150 g of ACRYL EMULSION or ~150 ml of
JUKOL and ~300 – 400 ml of REVITALCOLOR AG.
Solution B
You can also apply a micro-reinforced silicone façade paint REVITALCOLOR SILICONE, which is similar to REVITALCOLOR AG. Painted surfaces are extremely resistant to ageing - water repellence abates very slowly - therefore, dust and other dirt attach to them less and later.
Clean the plinth surface off dust and loose particles first and then coat it with diluted JUBOSIL G first (JUBOSIL G : water = 1 : 1) or diluted JUKOL (JUKOL: water = 1 : 1), then, apply the selected colour shade of REVITALCOLOR SILICONE twice.
To paint a of m2 a plinth, you will need ~150ml of JUBOSIL G or ~150 ml of JUKOL and ~300 - 400 ml of REVITALCOLOR SILICONE.
